Katie’s Operation Aloha Cat Flight

On April 25, 2023, Katie’s Operation Aloha Cat flight took off! It was comprised of 14 Lucky cats who travelled to PAWS via our airline partner Aloha Air Cargo. Eight of the 14 cats were black cats, just like Katie. The flight was sponsored and named by Gary and Sara, longtime supporters of Good Cat Network and the subject of our last Donor Spotlight. Not only have they donated financially to Good Cat Network, but Gary has donated quite a bit of his time by means of fostering, transport and special rescue missions. The Kona and Orange Boy Operation Aloha Cat Flight flew fourteen very lucky cats from Maui to Seattle Humane in Washington State on April 11, 2023 via our airline partner, Aloha Air Cargo. This flight was sponsored and named by Renee, supporter and donor of Good Cat Network. Did you know that up to 75% of a non-profit’s donations for the year are received during Giving Season? As people new to the non-profit world, it’s something that we’ve learned pretty quickly! Giving season runs from Giving Tuesday (November 29th) until the end of the year. We launched Good Cat Network about two weeks before Giving Tuesday last year.
