How does this clinic operate with the organizations involved?
Petfix sure knows how to do spay and neuter – in 2025 they performed 7500 surgeries! So, now they’re coming to Maui to operate dog clinics. Good Cat Network, in partnership with Aloha Furever Pets Foundation, will offer coordination, logistic and promotional support.
Petfix is funding and operating the clinic, Good Cat Network is lending our anesthesia machines and other necessary equipment, and Aloha Furever Pets Foundation is securing the venue and coordinating Maui communication and on-ground logistics.
Together, we are encouraging spay and neuter volunteerism and the importance of spay and neuter.
Who is funding this project?
Both Petfix and Good Cat Network are recipients of The John R. Peterson Foundation’s lifesaving Hawaii Sterilization Grant. Petfix has been operating spay and neuter clinics since 2020 out of Hawaii Island, while Good Cat Network started Have A Nice Spay for cats on Maui in 2025. Since Good Cat Network has surgical equipment and other necessary supplies on Maui island, which were funded by the J. R. Peterson Foundation, and Petfix has the experience and funding for Dog spay and neuter, the organizations were brought together through the John R. Peterson Foundation to bring much needed sterilization clinics for dogs to Maui.

You will be receiving a notification when your animal is ready to be picked up. Post-op surgery discharge instructions will be going home with your dog(s.)
For any post-surgery concerns, please call/text the emergency number listed on the discharge paperwork.
Please do NOT call Maui Humane Society, as they are not affiliated with this event and won’t be able to assist you.
